What are the possible Green Oxycodone side effects?

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience the following symptoms of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Opioids can cause your breathing to slow or stop completely, and death is a possibility. If you have slow breathing with long pauses, blue lips, or are having difficulty waking up, the person caring for you should seek emergency medical attention.

Consult your physician immediately if you have:

breathing that is too loud, sighing, shallow breathing, or breathing that ceases during sleep;
a slow heartbeat or a sluggish pulse;
a lightheaded sensation, as if you’re about to pass out;
consternation, strange thoughts or behavior;
convulsions (seizure); or
Cortisol deficiency symptoms include nausea, vomiting, appetite loss, dizziness, and worsening tiredness or weakness.

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of the following symptoms of serotonin syndrome: agitation, confusion, fever, sweating, rapid heartbeat, chest pain, shortness of breath, muscle stiffness, difficulty walking, or feeling faint.

Serious adverse effects may be more likely in older adults, those who are malnourished, or those who are disabled.

Long-term use of opioid medications may impair men’s or women’s fertility (ability to bear children). It is unknown whether opioids have a long-lasting effect on fertility.

Typical adverse effects include the following:

sleepiness, headache, dizziness, or exhaustion; or

What questions should I ask my healthcare provider before beginning to use Green Oxycodone?

You should avoid using oxycodone if you are allergic to it or if you have any of the following:

severe asthma or other breathing difficulties; or
a stumbling block in the stomach or intestines.

You should not use Green Oxycodone unless you are already taking an opioid medication of a similar nature and are tolerant of it.

The majority of Green Oxycodone brands are not approved for use in children under the age of 18. OxyContin should not be administered to a child under the age of 11 years.

Inform your physician if you have ever had:

breathing difficulties, sleep apnea
a concussion or seizures;
addiction to drugs or alcohol, or mental illness;
disease of the liver or kidneys;
urination difficulties; or
Gallbladder, pancreas, or thyroid problems

If you use opioid medication while pregnant, your baby may develop a tolerance to the drug. This can result in potentially fatal withdrawal symptoms in the newborn. Babies born opioid-dependent may require medical treatment for several weeks.

Breastfeeding is not recommended. Green Oxycodone is excreted in breast milk and may cause drowsiness, breathing difficulties, or death in nursing infants.

What is the proper way to take Green Oxycodone?

Adhere to the directions on your prescription label and thoroughly read any medication guides. Never take Green Oxycodone in larger doses or for a longer period of time than prescribed. Inform your doctor if you experience an increased desire to take this medication.

Never share opioid medication with another individual, especially someone who has a history of substance abuse or addiction. MISUSE CAN RESULT IN ADDICTION, OVERDOSE, OR DEATH. Store the medication in a secure location that is inaccessible to others. It is illegal to sell or give away opioid medication.

When you begin taking extended-release oxycodone, discontinue all other narcotic pain medications.

Green Oxycodone should be taken with food.

To avoid a potentially fatal overdose, swallow the capsule or tablet whole. Avoid crushing, chewing, breaking, opening, or dissolving.

Never crush or break an oxycodone pill in order to inhale the powder or dissolve it in a liquid in order to inject it into a vein. This has the potential to result in death.

Carefully measure liquid medications. Utilize the provided dosing syringe or a dose-measuring device (not a kitchen spoon).

You should not abruptly discontinue using oxycodone. Adhere to your doctor’s instructions regarding dose reduction.

Acute muscle weakness, pinpoint pupils, extremely slow breathing, extreme drowsiness, or coma may result from an overdose.

What should I stay away from while taking oxycodone?

Consume no alcoholic beverages. There is a possibility of dangerous side effects or death.

Avoid driving or operating machinery until you have a better understanding of how oxycodone affects you. Severe dizziness or drowsiness can result in falls or other accidents.

Attempt to avoid medication errors. Always verify the brand and strength of oxycodone that you purchase from a pharmacy.

What other medications will interact with yellow oxycodone pill?

If you begin or stop taking certain other medications, you may experience breathing problems or withdrawal symptoms. Inform your doctor if you are also taking an antibiotic, antifungal medication, blood pressure or heart medication, seizure medication, or medication to treat HIV or hepatitis C.

Opioid medication can interact with a wide variety of other medications, resulting in dangerous side effects or death. Ascertain that your doctor is aware if you also use:

Cold or allergy medications, asthma/COPD medication with a bronchodilator, or a diuretic (“water pill”);
motion sickness, irritable bowel syndrome, or overactive bladder medications;
additional narcotic medications—opioid analgesics or prescription cough suppressants;
a sedative similar to Valium, such as diazepam, alprazolam, lorazepam, Xanax, Klonopin, or Versed;
sleep-inducing or slow-breathing medications—a sleeping pill, muscle relaxant, or medication used to treat mood disorders or mental illness; or
A stimulant or medication for depression, Parkinson’s disease, migraine headaches, serious infections, or nausea and vomiting that affects serotonin levels in your body.

When you must abstain from taking it

Avoid taking this medication if you are allergic to any of the following:

oxycodone hydrochloride, or any of the other ingredients listed in the Product Description section at the end of this leaflet.
any other analgesics classified as opioid analgesics, such as morphine or codeine.

Among the symptoms of an allergic reaction are the following:

breathlessness
wheezing or breathing difficulties
facial, lip, tongue, or other body part swelling
On the skin, a rash, itching, or hives may occur.

Do not take this medication if you have any of the following medical conditions or have ever had any of the following:

have shallow breathing or other breathing problems such as acute asthma, respiratory depression (breathing becomes slower or weaker) or another obstructive airway disease
severe somnolence or a diminished level of consciousness
heartbeats that are irregular or rapid, or changes in the way the heart beats
heart problems or disease, including those caused by chronic lung disease
Convulsions, fits, or seizures
Whether you’ve sustained a head injury, a brain tumor, or are experiencing severe headaches, you may have elevated pressure within your head, brain, or spinal cord.
abdominal pain that is severe and accompanied by bloating, cramps, vomiting, or constipation
a condition in which the stomach empties more slowly than normal, or any condition that obstructs the stomach/bowel or impairs bowel transit (movement of food or ingested material along the bowel)
have difficulty swallowing due to oesophageal narrowing
liver or kidney disease that is severe
depression that is severe
a condition in which your blood contains an abnormally high amount of carbon dioxide.
